What's New?
Summer is here!!! We went from two weeks straight of rain, right into summer. I can hardly believe that I was still wearing fleece two weeks ago because I was freezing! This week it has been in the high 90's every day. We broke out the air conditioners at the beginning of the week.

We bought a laptop this week in order to make it easier for me to work. It is helping already!! I am able to take it with me from room to room with Melody. I'm also sneaking in some time at night while Jay plays poker. :) You will see the results over at the message boards and my Adventures of a Work at Home Mom Blog. I am very excited with the new time that I will be able to invest into Melody's Mommy. If you haven't had a chance to stop by the message boards yet, stop by and say hello. We have a great group of Moms and Dads working together to help each other succeed in working from home.

If you would like to swap links, the form can be found here: Link Exchange Request. I try to avoid using banners and only using text links. The reason for this is two-fold. Number one, when we get indexed by the search engines, it will read a text link much easier than a banner. Number two, it helps you as well! Your text links will weigh much heavier with the search engines, making your site more likely to be found. Keep this in mind as you exchange links with other sites. It's ok to swap banners, but use as many text links as possible or a combination of text and banner.
